Ed VanEssendelft

Vice President, Contract Sales

Ed VanEssendelft is the Vice President of Contract Sales which markets and sells Access Business Group’s manufacturing capacity to third-party customers. The area is charged with selling the capacity and leveraging both the physical assets of the plants as well as the intellectual resources of numerous supporting departments such as QA, Planning, Procurement, Engineering, Technical Regulatory Affairs, and R&D. Much of Ed’s career was spent in Supply Chain where he was responsible for manufacturing scheduling and global inventory management for Amway’s global businesses. Additionally, Ed has managed Global Project Management and spent 4 years in Japan managing operations for Amway Japan including Distribution, Forecasting, Planning, Procurement, and Customer Service.

Troy Finnestad

Manager, National Accounts

Responsive, customer focused, and cost effective are a few of the words Troy Finnestad uses when describing what differentiates ABG from other contract manufacturers. From formulating products to making bottles, labels, and cartons needed for packaging and shipping, he understands that best-in-class companies value all the offerings their vertically integrated organization can provide. Troy joined ABG in 2006 and has leadership and management experience in Pressure Packaging, Personal Care, Liquids, and the Technical Support Organization responsible for Manufacturing Maintenance and Equipment Management spanning across North America. He currently leads the Account Management team and holds a Bachelor of Science from Grand Valley State University. With over 20-years of industry and leadership experience in consumable goods, nutrition, and pharmaceuticals, Troy brings a broad skillset in Lean/Six Sigma, Total Productive Maintenance, Safety Systems, and Quality Systems, including certifications in cGMP and Quality Assurance Compliance that guides our organization to achieve superior results.

Bob Hamly

Manager, National Sales

Bob Hamly has 30 years of industry experience in Packaging Engineering, Manufacturing support, Process & Packaging technology transfer, R&D management of Product Development teams and Contract Sales account management with major consumer products companies as well as suppliers to the Store Brands/Private Label industry. This experience and Bob’s passion for driving out cost is a great resource for our customers whether they need help optimizing their product and packaging to minimize cost or if they are looking for potential line extension opportunities and new product ideas.
